The racism train is never late!!!!

There is one simple truth that I try to never forget.....and that is that the racism train in this country is never late.

It would seem that every single time that I tend to forget that, someone steps front and center to remind me of the realities of life in this country....and the world at large for that matter.

I'll be the first person to tell you that I firmly believe in every American's right to freedom of speech. Of course, that doesn't mean that there aren't repercussions to the things that people say.  Especially when they depend upon the general public for their livelihood.

I don't know what the Los Angeles Clippers owner, Donald T. Sterling was thinking...........then again, I guess I do.  I can also say that I have an appreciation for Donald Sterling's taste in women.

What he's about to learn though is that there is a direct correlation to making racist statements like "he'd rather not have blacks go to his games" or "he'd rather not have whites that associate with blacks go to his games".......is gonna turn into a big shit sandwich that he's gonna have to take a bite of without the benefit of some cheese or ketchup.

Whats really funny is that in 2009 Donald T. Sterling was awarded the NAACPs "Humanatarian of the year award".
And then there's Cliven Davis. He was the conservative's media darling until earlier this week when he came under fire for being caught on camera making racially charged remarks about "negroes".  He said he was "just wondering" if blacks might have been better off as slaves......picking cotton, rather than sucking at the government tit.

That's an interesting thought process from someone who randomly breaks the law and doesn't pay his own debts.
Does it really matter that these two men are as old as dirt?!?

Is that a valid excuse?!?

Don't people like this realize that racism will impact their bottom line quicker than Kryptonite will kill Superman?!?

  1. I read about this on Twitter. Soon after a former 'friend' of mine sent mena bunch of racist hate filled text messages because he owes me money. Totally done with all the bullshit in the air today.

This POS Donald Sterling and his nasty comments will soon realize karma is a bitch.

    1. What you should do Mlvlatina is post everything your "friend" said online for the world to see along with his full government name and city of residence.

You can stick a fork in Mr. Sterling, he's done.

    2. I am tempted to do so. I saved and took screen captures of all the messages he sent. I don't want any of my friends to go and do something to him and go to jail. He is not worth it.

Donald Sterling is done. Couldn't have happened to a 'better' person.

    3. You really ought to Mlvlatina.

If they were bold enough to do that to you.........if I were you I'd put them on blast.

    6. Thank you for stopping by my blog again.

Did you hear Donald Sterling says he has prostate cancer? Even though he is an evil man, I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone.

    8. Many people on social media are cheering about it. This is a scary world.

I'm going to spend the day catching up on my soaps and watching funny movies. Shutting out negativity.

Hope you have a good weekend Reggie :).

    1. It is what it is Cat. Some people hide their feelings well; and then there are people like this man that open their mouths again and again and sewage flows freely.

    1. Dawna if anything, I'm just glad this story came out. While it's sad and pathetic, personally I like to know what people are really thinking. Not that normal nonsense they put out, but what they're really and truly thinking.

  4. Reg.. It took the Clippers to bring you back? Tide got rolled by Auburn. Other than that... Man, you live in the South.. You KNOW racism is alive and well, but the good thing is is that it now has consequences.

    1. Yeah pathetic huh?!? I felt like posting this past weekend. I've actually felt like it a few times, I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Now when my Tide lost.....I really didn't feel like posting then.

We both know that the racism train is never late. There are some people in this country that are quick to pretend that the only racists in America live in the south........we both know that's bullshit. Racism is a national tradition in this country.

  5. It's been a while since I have commented on your blog.

Yes, I recognise you from videos I have seen on the Internet.....I've realised for years actually.

Anyway, I hope that you are fine and in good health.

  6. WAIT...YOU SNUCK ONE IN ON ME?! LOL
Man, the racism train is never, ever late in this country. And it's not just the south. Hell, my son didn't get called a nigger until he was up north. Naturally, he beat the brakes off of the boy who called him that.

  10. Reggie! I happened upon one of my old blogs written in 2010 and started busting up when I read your comment! You said lose all the weight you want but remember no one likes a bone but a dog! After baby number 1 I got down to 130. It was totally unintentional. Strict diet after some health issues coupled with nursing. I hated it! Both my husband and I love that I've managed to gain about 25 back. NO one likes a bone but a dog! how are you? Hope you're well!
